Scientific and research work

     The main directions of scientific activity of the department are: 

• improvement of methods for the rock volumes extraction substantiation ;
• prediction of the Earth's surface subsidence parameters under the influence of mining works;
• establishing of disjunctive tectonic faults geometric parameters;
• improvement of mine and geodetic surveying methods;
• geomechanical substantiation of the mine workings parameters for their stability (including the reuse);
• providing the coal extraction completeness via optimization the pillars parameters.
