He was born in 1964. In 1989 he graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute. Artem (now SHEI "National Mining University"), specialty "Mine Surveying".

Since January 1994 he has been working at the department of surveying. Currently a senior lecturer.

Since 1998 - Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Department of Construction, a member of the Faculty Council. Engaged in research of geometric parameters of stationary mining equipment and installations. Author of more than 10 scientific and educational works. Reads such disciplines as "metrology, standardization, certification, attestation," "mine-surveying instruments", "special surveying work" and others.
