Department of surveying maintains close links with other related departments of Ukraine and abroad: Donetsk, Krivoy Rog, Alchevsk, Zhytomyr, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Freiberg (Germany), etc.  

Supported cooperation with the Ukrainian Research Institute of Mining Geomechanics and Mine Surveying (УкрНИМИ).

The department cooperates with Academy of Mining Sciences of Ukraine, Ministry of Coal Industry, industrial associations and holding companies.

The department participates in the annual international scientific-practical conference "Forum miners".
